Learn how mindfulness can be used to promote health and well-being while facing stress, pain, and illness. We offer the original Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Program as originated by Jon-Kabat Zinn, PhD at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction

 

    MBSR is an intensive eight-week training in mindfulness awareness. Groups meet weekly for two hours and for an all-day session between weeks six and seven.

 This eight-week experiential learning program will provide:

  • Audio Recordings of weekly meditations

  • Instruction in gentle stretching and mindful yoga​​​​​​

  • Daily home assignments to develop Mindfulness

  • Guided instruction on mindfulness meditation practices

Each class builds upon the previous session. Topics include stress management, the 

mind-body connection, healthy relationship interactions and coping with feelings, emotional and physical pain
